I do not fully agree with Tytler’s theory on the cycle of democracy because I do not think freedom means that democracy is destined to fail. I think government in general is destined to fail. Humans naturally overuse power on others.
Also, I want to know where Tytler got the premise of failure in 200 years. Is that an average? I feel like his bias can make him overlook how he conveys information. Though what he says sounds possible in some cases, I do not think that what he says is entirely true.
John Eberhard is a marketing executive, author, and political analyst in Nevada. He grew up in a liberal home; however, after watching how it affected government, he leaned more towards the right wing (republican). After working for 20 years in marketing for multiple companies, John realizes the lack of incentive to work or get educated. Therefore, John’s website and book, “The Internet Marketing Super eBook,” help him communicate his findings to others.
I think John could be considered trustworthy information; however, he has an obvious and extreme bias toward the right wing. This will obviously skew the way that he conveys his theory. I would say that he is a partially trustworthy source. Also, he has worked in marketing and retail, not politics. So, that makes me curious as to where exactly he is getting his information.
