1. Constitution Party is intensely against abortion, gun control, government taxation, immigration, trade protection, “New World Order" (a conspiracy theory grounded on the belief that a secret group of officials is governing the world), United Nations (an international organization to promote cooperation between nations), gay rights, and welfare. The party is based off the Christian faith and the good will of its followers.
2. Green Party is a leftist, European environmentalist group. They follow a strict autonomous state and local government with a weak federal government.
3. Libertarian Party follows total individual liberty and total economic freedom. Promotions include: drug legalization, abortion choice, gay marriage, home schooling, and gun rights.
4. American Independent Party is an anti-Washington (against state intervention into personal and social affairs), anti-racial integration, and anti-communist platform. Members are populist (organization promoting ordinary people) and right-wing (conservative and generally republican).
5. American Nazi Party follows Aryan Nation and Nazi views. These include white supremacy and the removal of Jews and Non-whites from office and eventually the country.
6. The Boston Tea Party is a conservative group advocating the enhancement of people’s rights. For instance, the party promotes gun rights, reducing income taxes, traditional family values, and a strong military.
7. Communist Party USA advocates a free universal health care, elimination of the federal income tax, free college education, drastic cuts in military spending, public works programs, public ownership of industries, and huge tax hikes for corporations and the wealthy. The idea is based around the extinction of capitalism.
8. Prohibition Party is primarily jam-packed full of conservative minded members who want to prohibit the country’s use of alcohol. The venue includes an extremely Christian view with ani-drug and anti-communistic theories.
9. The Reform Party is a right-wing, populist party. They advocate re-establishing trust in the government through reforms.
10. Working families Party was founded by a coalition of labor unions. The party is based off an advancement of labor unions and liberal economic and employment issues.
I agree with the stance that the Libertarian Party has on individual rights. For instance, I agree with the party that drug legalization, abortion choice, gay marriage, home schooling, and gun rights should be promoted. I follow the theory that the government should not control our lives on a personal, individual, and religious scale. As well, I believe in the promotion of ridding the country of welfare, government regulation of business, and income tax. With the presence of the government in our personal lives, the distinction between having freedom and not becomes blurry. In fact, when the government tells you how to choose, you are not choosing at all. For example, when the government has control over marriage, you really don’t have a choice on who you want to marry, because if he/she is your same gender, well then, no, you can’t marry. There is either choice or no choice at all.
